Literacy and Numeracy Projects

Literacy is the ability to read and write with understanding. There are serious consequences for a child who struggles to read, It’s unavoidable: a poor reader becomes a struggling learner.

Strong Schools Community Collaborative (SSCC) collaborates with other NGOs that specialize in literacy projects. A great need exists to get funding for the Literacy programmes and the training of our schools’ teachers. There is also a great need for extra classes and volunteers to be involved in our 5 Support Hub’s programs for reading- and maths support.
