MaiTai Fluke Chicken Rigs

The MaiTai Chicken rig was one of our most requested rigs for the summer of 2022.  Consisting of a swivel tied to an approximately 28 inch, 40 pound leader with two hooks.  The top hook is a plain gold 3/0 Mustad wide gap hook on a dropper loop.  The lower hook is also a gold 3/0 Mustad hook tied to a short leader and either plain or dressed with a sliding bucktail teaser.  The bottom of the rig is a loop for attaching your sinker. 

Chicken rigs, sometimes called Nantucket rigs, work in many instances, but excel in deep water or shallow water with a fast drift, or other situations where a heavy weight is needed.  This specialized Hi/Lo rig slays fish. 

Available in 4 styles:  Plain, White Bucktail, Chartreuse Bucktail and Pink Bucktail.
