Introduction: ACJ Phakade Primary School
Meet Mr Thobile Majingo, principal of ACJ Phakade Primary School in Nomzamo, Strand.
ACJ Phakade Primary was established in 1998 and officially inaugurated by Ms.Debbie Schafer, MEC Western Cape Education Department under the Principalship of Mr TW Majingo. It is a quintile 2, no fees school with 1426 learners registered in 2022. They currently have 38 teachers . In 2018 the school marked its 20 years of existence. This school wants to put their learners first and their vision says:
“We commit ourselves to produce responsible, independent learners to be good citizens of our country.”
Mr Majiingo and his management team has been part of the Helderberg Schools Development program, initiated and funded by The Rupert Foundation and facilitated by Camino Consulting for the past four years. This school has the vision and the team members to really start providing quality education for every learner, every day. With Strong Schools’s model and community involvement coordination, this school has the potential to become a Strong Schools flagship and beacon of hope to the entire Helderberg Basin.
We are looking for visionary partners who will provide the funding to launch ACJ Phakade’s school improvement journey. Contact us if you want to lead the change in government schooling with Strong Schools.
