Our CEO Campher Serfontein’s interview on Radio Helderberg, FM 93.6, about our upcoming Golf Day Event on March 17.

A huge thank you to Christie Hansen from HelderbergFM for hosting us and allowing us to spread the word about our Golf Day Event taking place on Friday, the 17th of March 2023.

HelderbergFM is a staple in our Helderberg community. The radio station’s broadcast reaches places such as Somerset West, Strand, Gordon’s Bay, Sir Lowry’s Pass, Nomzamo, Lwandle, Firgrove, and Macassar. Not only that, HelderbergFM’s footprint extends to parts of the Cape Peninsula, southern and northern suburbs, the Cape West Coast, Stellenbosch, Elgin, Grabouw, Villiersdorp, Hermanus, and Gansbaai.

The broadcast was a great opportunity for SSCC to shed light on our upcoming event, which will give local businesses opportunities to network and increase their own public value. More importantly, we get to raise funds for the projects we are implementing at our Support Hub Schools, with a special focus on our literacy and library projects.

Christie and Campher discussed the impact SSCC is making in the schools we serve as well as in the wider community. This happens through the support provided to the Educators, the Learners and Parents, which is hugely important in ensuring effective learning processes. The great contribution this event would make by enabling SSCC to deliver further support to their Support Hub Schools, through the funds raised by this event, was also highlighted.

They were also joined by the MC of the event, Francois Boyce, to discuss his involvement and why he decided to dedicate some time to our organization and why others should also offer their support.

If playing Golf doesn’t interest you but you would still like to be part of the change, feel free to visit GivenGain to donate an amount of your choice towards our projects. Your support would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
